The Department of Computer Application, M.A.M. B-School, organized a guest lecture on Cyber Security on 4th April 2025 by Mr. Santhoshram from Cyberheals. The session aimed to raise awareness on modern cybersecurity threats and best practices for digital safety.
Mr. Santhoshram introduced the CIA triad—Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability—and explained its role in protecting data. He discussed tools, technologies, and firewall configurations for preventing breaches, highlighted risks from cookies and ISP protocols, and addressed threats from AI misuse, stressing real-time authority protocols.
Practical demonstrations on social media vulnerabilities showed hacking techniques and prevention tips for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. The interactive session saw active student participation, making it an engaging and insightful experience.
