Institution’s Innovation Council
Major Focus of IIC
- To create a vibrant local innovation ecosystem.
- To establish a start-up and entrepreneurship-supporting mechanism in HEIs.
- To prepare the institution for the ARIIA Framework.
- To establish a functional ecosystem for scouting ideas and supporting pre-incubation activities.
- To develop better cognitive abilities among technology students.
Functions of Institution’s Innovation Council
- Promote innovation within the institution through multiple modes, ultimately creating an innovation-driven ecosystem on campus.
- Conduct various innovation and entrepreneurship activities prescribed by the Central MIC in a time-bound manner.
- Identify and reward innovative ideas and share success stories.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and interactions with entrepreneurs, investors, and professionals; create a mentor pool.
- Network with peers and national entrepreneurship development organizations.
- Create an Innovation Portal to showcase projects developed by faculty and students.
- Organize hackathons, idea competitions, mini-challenges, and other events with industry involvement.
