ENLIGHTENING THE EMERGING & FUTURE CEO’S IN B-SCHOOL
M.A.M. Business School, a standalone Business School in Trichy, its Student Association Club association with Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) organized a session on “Enlightening the Emerging & future CEO’s in B-School” on 23rd December, 2022. Dr. M. Hemalatha, Director, M.A.M.B-School welcomed the gathering and highlighted the emerging trends in the presents business environment with advancements in technology, the world is shrinking. She also pointed out that in today’s competitive age, the key expectation from B-schools is to keep pace with the evolving trends in business as well as the growing needs of students and employees. Mr. V. Ramachandran, Senior General Manager – Technical, Kothari Sugars and Chemicals Ltd, was the resource person for the session.
HR PANEL DISCUSSION
M.A.M. Business School, a standalone Business School in Trichy, its Student Association Club and Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) jointly organized a session of “HR PANEL DISCUSSION” on 9th January, 2023. Dr. M. Hemalatha, Director, M.A.M.Business School given the felicitation address and emphasized the importance to the students to aware of modern human resource environment’s requirement and trends. The discussion started with the brief introduction about individual guest followed by the event moderator’s questions.
Mr. R. Mohanasundaram, AGM – HR, VDart Technologies initiated with the information of area of digital technology that the future takes with digital and HR with the students. He also spoke on the reasons behind the business needs and prefers human logic for the algorithm to work. He highlighted the future work trends that can be observed in the field of HR and business management. He cited various employability skills that are expected from the candidates during the interview. He also given valuable tips on high level of position that are to be achieved by the candidates in their future career. He informed that “Will” (Power to Do) matters rather Skill, the skill comes automatically if the candidates have Will to perform anything and everything.
Mr. G. Mahaboob Basha, Deputy Manager, Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited shared how an organization or an industry in manufacturing sector can approach digital transformation and the way it takes India forward from service-based economy to production-based economy. He also informed by stating plethora of job opportunities of a student who prefers Human Resource as a specialization. He shared that more set of skills that needs to acquire from the students in addition to communication and technical skills. He given guidance to the students regarding the career opportunities for the students in the field of manufacturing sector.
Mr. G. Ramesh Kumar, Manager – Talent Acquisition, Omega Healthcare were the one of resource persons participated in the discussion. He shared valuable insights by covering soft skills that are essential to survive in today’s cut-throat competitive business environment. He informed about various new vistas of openings in the domain of Health care and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO). He explained that right digital technology that will bring powerful change to the healthcare and all students need to equip themselves in all ways and means. He spoke about the impact of pandemic COVID-19 and various strategies adopted by the healthcare business towards the same. He covered the employee retention and its implications and shared insights on career development and management to youngsters. He insisted that human resource management become more diverse in nature that require updated skill sets. M.A.M. Business School invited Under Graduate students by covering more than 15 colleges and totally 850 students inquisitively participated in the HR Panel Discussion and they raised the question to the Panel members and clarified their queries.
Mr. S. Prasanna, Assistant Professor, M.A.M.B-School and Ms. S. Lokeshwari, I MBA were acted as the moderators for the entire programme and they raised the questions to the respective resource persons with clear indent and right direction. The entire session was extremely eyeopener to all the participants and given thought provoking inputs in the realm of Human Resource practices at large. Mrs. A. DATA SCIENCE
M.A.M. B-School, a standalone Business School Students Association Club organized a Guest Lecture on “DATA SCIENCE” on 03rd December, 2022. Mr. Kiran Raj, Senior Manager, SEAPORTAI, Researcher (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) was the resource person for the programme. Dr. M. Hemalatha, Director, M.A.M.B-School given the welcome address and shared her thoughts by highlighting the concept of Data Science and its application potential in the present business environment. She also shared some insights of Business intelligence with real time examples. Resource Speaker, Mr. Kiran Raj began the lecture by explaining the existence of Data Science concepts in various fields. He stated that Data Science is a study which deals with identification, representation and extraction of meaningful information from data sources to be used for business purposes. He particularized an example usage of data science in business management which support by data.
PROFESSIONAL ETHICS AND HUMAN VALUES
M.A.M. B-School Student Association club, Internal Quality Association Cell (IQAC) and Junior Jaycee Wing organized “Session on Professional Ethics and Human Values” on 30th November 2022. Mrs.R.Indhumathi, Executive Director-(SCOPE) Trichy was the resource person for this programme. Dr. M.Hemalatha, Director, M.A.M.B-School welcomed the gathering and gave a short note about Professional ethics and Human values as Human values and professional ethics are complementary to each other. Whereas human values convey personal conviction, ethics describe the accepted principles and standards of conduct about moral duties and virtues as applied to an organization. She also opined that the success of an institution’s mission and vision is driven by value-based ethical behaviour of its committed faculty members, officers, staff and students.

M.A.M. Business School, a standalone Business School in Trichy organized a programme associated with its students Association Club on “ B’ a STOCK BEE”on 20th September, 2022. Dr. M. Hemalatha, Director, M.A.M.Business School given the felicitation address and highlighted the importance of stock market activities that become serious business and employment opportunities in recent and even for future time. Mr. M . Chokcalingam, Manger – Sales & Distribution, Sharekhan Ltd, Trichy, were the resource persons for the programme. CYBER SAFETY
M.A.M. B-School, a standalone Business School in Trichy organized a programme “Installation of students ExNoRa and Session on Cyber Safety” on 16th September, 2022. Mr.S.Anbuselvan, Inspector of Police, Cyber Crime Police Station, Trichy and Mr. R. Thirukannan, Educationist & Hospitality Professional, Chennai were the resource persons for the programme. Mr.S.Anbuselvan initiated the session with the principles and practices on cyber safety and it protects all categorical data from theft and damage that includes sensitive data, Personally Identifiable Information (PII), Protected Health Information (PHI), personal information, intellectual property, data, and governmental and industry information systems. He stated the cyber crimes of OTP fraud, Email fraud, Social media fraud, mobile app fraud, etc.
Advanced Presentation Skills

Mrs.Fathima Bathool Maluk, Secretary & CEO, MASTeR Group of Institutions presided over the programme. Ar.S.Stella Ragupathi, HoD, MAMSA was the guest speaker for the programme and delivered a session on “Advanced Presentation Skills”. She informed that the faculty members need to apply various presentation skills pertaining to incline the inquisitiveness of the students.
The guest speaker discussed the role and importance of presentation skills and its advancement to the faculty members. She explained the presentation and focus on soft skills are the important tools by which an individual can grow and develop themselves in all ways and means. She also demonstrated the in depth knowledge about various presentation techniques, do’s and don’ts for an effective presentation. She commenced the session with some ice breaking activities for the participants pertaining to understand the need and purpose to know the advanced presentation skills. She focused that presentation skills and interaction skills which are quintessential corresponding to communicate with someone. She encapsulated what to present, how to present, importance and need for Multimedia Presentation, its advancements, style of communication while presenting an information etc. She covered that how to speak in group to be more effective so that everyone listen what you say by actively engaging students in an activity. She also covered some crucial skills, various visual techniques, non verbal ability and its applications. The entire session definitely served the purpose pertaining to build positive attitude and encouraged the faculty members to reach pinnacle of success in life with enhancing the presentation skills. The session was highly interactive and enlightening experience to all faculty members that paves the way to effectively making and elevates their presentation skills in an advanced manner by and large.
Interview Etiquette and Grooming

Mrs.Navajothi, Chairman, Faculty & Center In Charge, ICICI Foundation for Inclusive Growth was the guest speaker for the programme and delivered a session on “Interview Etiquette and Grooming”. She encouraged the students to identify their lucrative chances to reap success in their ever competitive job market.
The guest speaker discussed various inputs on skills required for budding professionals, do’s and don’ts in Group Discussion and highlighted that good grooming is an essential indication for an candidates to ace the interview. She encapsulated that grooming plays a major role in maintaining a high self-esteem and self-confidence. She pinpointed that a good personality with a confident presentation and effective communication is the key to your success at job interviews. She discussed that each student need to concentrate on all ways and means pertinent to hone their employability skills to get success to their corporate career. She throw lights on tips on personal hygiene, various steps and guidelines to be followed to attend the interview, importance of time management and decorum to be maintained during the interview, tips on effective resume preparation with the students.

The guest speaker gave lot of tips to become professionals pertaining to unleash themselves in today’s ever challenging job environment. Dr.M.Hemalatha, Director, M.A.M.B-School welcomed the gathering and highlighted that effective managing of finance plays a crucial role in everyone’s life. Mr.G.Prabhu, Faculty, ICICI Foundation, Trichy was the guest speaker for the programme and delivered a session on “Financial Literacy”. He initiated the students to identify the importance of savings and getting aware of all financial aspects which are considered predominant by and large.

He also stressed on effective management of finances by highlighted that finance is the key blood and backbone of every industrial/individual operations. He also informed that some of the ancient methods of water conservation shall be practiced. The students are also encouraged to improve water management practices that reduce the wastage of water that immensely paves the way to safeguard the environment at large. He covered that everyone need to make use of water in an appropriate and judicious manner. He also pinpointed that all our lives entirely depends on water, it is our responsibility to think about water conservation and how everyone can contributes towards the same. M.A.M Business School, Youth Red Cross (YRC-MAMBS) is to inculcate in the youth of our country an awareness on the care of their own health concern and that of others the understanding and acceptance of civic responsibilities and acting accordingly with humanitarian concern, to fulfil the same to enable the growth,spirit of service, sense of duty with dedication and devotion in the minds of youth. To foster better friendly relationship with all, without any discrimination. The Youth Red Cross Society aims to inspire, encourage and initiate at all times, all forms of humanitarian activities so that human suffering can be minimized, alleviated and even prevented.
YRC-MAMBS unit create and train among the youth about social responsibility, health and life, and to develop human values, ethics and moral capacities. It also emphasises on serving the sick and suffering people. The YRC- MAMBS aims to have young people recognized by social leadership as equal partners who address the needs of the most vulnerable sections of the population. The unit considers every student in the college as an active YRC member and motivates everyone to participate in various activities with immense pride.
Youth Red Cross is focus for its humanitarian commitment. Young volunteers can make a significant contribution to meeting the needs of the most vulnerable people within their local communities through Red Cross youth programme. This has been designed to involve young people as much as possible in the movement and its activities not only as workers and also as beneficiaries, but as partners in management.
Thanneer Club established with the mission of use and preserve water thereby accessible and improvising the livelihood of society at large. The major rationale of this club is to enrich the natural habitats, flora and fauna and harmonizing the environmental sustainability holistically in all spheres in toto. The club also throw lights on creating the awareness on the quintessence of water and save the globe from detrimental effects pertinent to reach the pinnacle of eco-friendly ways of living.
Progressive leaps & bounds of the club
M.AM.B-School in association with Thanneer Club and Airport Authority of India celebrated grandiosely the Nadi Utsav [Festival of Rivers] by focusing on the Cauvery and environmental awareness in order to promote the message of clean living. A human chain formed by 800 college students on the River Cauvery Bridge on 23rd December 2021 in the early hours of Thursday highlighted the importance of using cotton cloth bag and saving the river from pollution. At this juncture, the M.A.M.B-School students hold up “manjappai” (yellow cloth bag) and distributed them to the public with the intention of protecting the ecological aspects. The programme also highlighted to bring back the use of manjappai by raising awareness among the youth and society as a whole that has published in leading newspapers and visual media. Thanneer Club also organized various awareness programme such as „parambariam kappom‟ (Let’s Preserve the Tradition), afforestation, ecotourism by making field trip at „pachamalai‟ (trekking expedition programme) with the students and realize the essence of eco-friendly operations, sensitizing on not littering forests, disperse seed ball, sapling palm trees to prevent soil erosion in catchment areas along river banks, banks of ponds and canals, and save the environment from pollution by sapling plants, Hygiene Alone Triumphs by inviting Padmashri Awardee and organizing more programmes regarding the focus on green practices, organizing rally stating the “preservation of nature as gift of God” and also taking the adequate steps to impose the ban on plastics (Say No to plastics) as it is non-biodegradable by considering its short-term and long-term implications on the environment and public health thereby to save the future generations. Thanneer club inquisitively undertakes many initiatives such as village adoption, developing the livelihood of orphanage people, no crackers movement to protect the environment, giving active hands in order to bring out the maximum potentials of students from villages by supporting of their education and enhancing their life in all ways and means. The club also laid emphasis regarding precautionary measures on pandemic COVID 19 and ways and means of protective aspects to the society etc. Thanneer Club also carried out social responsibility aspects, awareness programme on health and hygiene and its implications to the public at large.

M.A.M.B-School a standalone Business school in Trichy organizes Entrepreneurship Development Program every year to nurture the entrepreneurship mindset among the students as in turn that helps the economy of our Country. The entrepreneurial development cell connects ideas with marketable products. The student’s ambition of becoming a versatile entrepreneur is being channeled through the entrepreneurship development cell, which has taken on a greater responsibility for developing entrepreneurship skills among the students. The overall Coordinator for MAMBS, Dr. R. Karthika, ED Cell Coordinator who manages the fund and coordinates the entire ED program. The main objective of the Entrepreneurship Development Cell is to cultivate an entrepreneurial spirit in young people that will create wealth and job prospects. Government subsidies from DST-NIMAT were given to the MAMBS ED Cell to support the organization of an Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp for diploma, polytechnic, engineering, and arts students. An Electoral Literacy Club is a platform to engage college students through interesting activities and hands-on experience to sensitise them on their electoral rights and familiarize them with the electoral process of registration and voting. ELCs are also present in colleges and rural communities. At ELCs, learning meets fun. Activities and Games are designed to stimulate and motivate students provoking them to think and ask questions. Through ELC, Election Commission of India, aims at strengthening the culture of electoral participation among young and future voters.
In the ELC, members will be part of interesting and thought-provoking, mostly classroom based activities and games. There are some activities and games which have been carefully designed to impart specific learning which will help them become an ‘Empowered (Prospective) Voter’ The main objective of ELC club is to help the target audience understand the value of their vote to ensure that they exercise their suffrage right in a confident, comfortable and ethical manner. To encourage the Youth to participate in the vote in the Electoral Process it not only encourages the youth to –participate the Electoral Process but also focuses on the fact that the right to vote is a basic right. The National voters day was first celebrated in 2011 to encourage young voters to take part in the electoral process. No doubt it is the day to celebrate the right to vote and also the democracy of India. We M.A.M.B-School Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Electoral Literacy Club (ELC) organized programme “Voter Awareness”- Slogan, Poster Making and quiz Competition 2022.All our students participated in the competitions This Event has been very inspiring and students really felt delighted to have been able to be a part of this program and try to continue with the wave approach on society with this positive technique and overwhelming response by and large We informed that voting is a responsibility of all the citizens and the law does not require citizens to vote, but voting is a very important part of any democracy and also motivated students to cast vote and fulfill the role in the democracy.
Preamble to ExNoRa Club
ExNoRa is a non-governmental environmental voluntary service organization started in 1989 with the mission of preserving nature and preventing environmental degradation. Exnora stands for Excellent, Novel and Radical ideas. ExNoRa involves in solving environmental problems by involving those who caused the problem.
Rationale for establishment of ExNoRa Club:
The objective of ExNoRa club with a intention to create awareness of global warming, safeguard the natural environment from detrimental effects, follow the practices of polyethene free environment, to maintain the cleanliness inside and outside the campus, organize campaign by focusing on protect the flora and fauna in the form of organizing various programmes and effective implementation of the same. The ExNoRa also majorly emphasis with the need for following cleanliness in the form of convening environment awareness, inculcating the habit of sapling plantation among younger generations, mould and develop the skill sets among the youths thereby convert them into socially responsible in all ways and means. ExnoRa Club invites leading socialists and eminent personalities as guest of honour and spread out the importance of safeguarding the environment that are considered pivotal in today’s turbulent scenario.
Active Hands by ExNoRa Club with M.A.M.B-School:
M.A.M.B-School organized “Installation of Student’s ExNoRa Club and Workshop on Cyber Safety” on 16.09.2022. The club also organizes myriad programmes such as paper presentation on Environmental Protection, Tree Plantation Programme, ecological practices, workshop on “Am I Celebrity” , Mega Voter Awareness Campaign (17 programmes in various places of Tiruchirappalli District), Sapling plantation at college premises, preserving the ecological systems, encouraging students to plant saplings in the campus, say no to plastics, undertakes socially relevant and useful projects towards environmental sustenance.

At M.A.M.Business School, Prevention of Sexual Harassment Cell (POSH) has been established as per the guidelines of UGC, NAAC and the Supreme Court, to provide a healthy and congenial atmosphere to the female staff members and students. Our Institution is a coeducational institution providing opportunities to both boys and girls to develop their leadership qualities. There are a large number of women who work hand in hand with men here. This cell aims at sensitizing the students and staff and working diligently to prevent sexual harassment in our institution. Complaints of sexual harassment shall be lodged with the Committee and appropriate disciplinary action is initiated by the members in accordance to the rules and regulations of the institution expressions. Hence, any unwelcome sexually motivated behavior, whether directly or by implication involving physical contacts or advances, demand for sexual favors, sexually spoiled remarks, and other unwelcome physical, verbal or non verbal expressions of a sexual nature which affects them right to work in a congenial environment at the workplace are strictly observed and severely punished. POSH Club is actively performing at MAMBS, with the extent of great guidance and support from the staff and students. This cell highly focuses towards multiple functionalities inclusive of preventing the sexual harassment of women, conducting periodical programmes on women empowerment, providing conducive environment and congenial atmosphere for both girl students and faculty members. It is strenuously providing and maintaining a safe, inclusive and high-quality learning environment at all times. To prevent gender discrimination and sexual harassment against girls by promoting gender equity among students and employees have been the prime motive of the club.
Rotaract clubs bring together people in the ages 18-30 to exchange ideas with leaders in the community, to develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun through services. Rotaract club also meets as needed for their service projects and events. Rotaract clubs engage in local and international service, both independently and working with local Rotary clubs. The Rotaract members engage in a wide range of activities including social, professional and community events. They create positive change in their local communities. The main motto of our club is “Self Development” – Fellowship through service. Rotary International is an international service organization whose stated purpose is to provide humanitarian service and to advance goodwill and peace around the world. It is a non-political and non-religious organization, open to all people regardless of race, color, religion, gender, or political preference. There are about 35,000 Rotary clubs worldwide. Rotaract focuses on the development of young adults as leaders in their communities and workplaces. Clubs around the world also take part in international service projects, in a global effort to bring peace and international understanding to the world. The purpose of Rotaract is to provide an opportunity for young men and women to enhance the knowledge and skills that will assist them in personal development, to address the physical and social needs of their communities, and to promote better relations between all people worldwide through a framework of friendship and service.
M. A. M. B-School established women empowerment cell with the objective of fulfilling the rights and privileges of women in order to focus on overall development of women in all aspects. M. A. M. B-School organizes various programs the physical fitness (Health and Hygienic aspects) arranging counseling sessions by inviting leading counsellors and psychologist and upliftment of innate skills and talents to spread the importance and ways for women empowerment at all levels. Women empowerment and gender equality are the most vital requirements for the upliftment and progress of our nation. The women empowerment cell has both the facility and students of the college as it’s members and works with an aim to create a gender sensitized community within campus as well as in the society. Women are known for delivering multiple roles effortlessly per day and thus they are considered the backbone of every society. The women empowerment cell for a healthy and fit life, yoga campus, and likely counseling session etc. To spread the importance and ways for women empowerment various talks workshops and events will be organized. These programs will also provide a platform to female student understand their explored skills and talents. The Activities of Women Empowerment Cell is to promote a culture of respect and equality for female gender; To organize awareness programs on gender sensitization; To arrange seminars that creates awareness on the economic, social, political, and legal rights of women; To conduct seminars and workshop to impart knowledge of opportunities and tools available and train the women; Organizing different activities to make women aware of their health, sports, self- defence etc.; Conducting various competitions to encourage their artistic talents; Highlighting the importance of spirituality, health, hygiene and safety; Women’s Day Celebrations.
GENDER CLUB Gender Sensitization can be understood in simple terms as a modification of behavior by addressing issues of gender inequality. Gender Champion Club was installed in the College in order to promote gender equality, guaranteed by Article 15 of the Indian Constitution. This was carried out to increase the outreach for creating an environment that fosters equal treatment to both boys and girls. The club focuses on renovating the social norms about women and men, and girls and boys – as well as the relationships among them, to enhance or constrain everyone’s well-being, capabilities, security, opportunities, empowerment and freedom.. The aim is to make the young boys and girls gender sensitive and create positive social norms that value the girls and their rights. Our vision is a world in which women and men have equal rights under the law, and full enjoyment of their human rights. Our mission is to achieve legal and systemic change that addresses violence and discrimination against women and girls around the world. To provide comprehensive education and training to young girls and boys, men and women and those who identify as such through the use of workshops, classes, Our vision strives to balance social, economic political opportunities of the sexes.
Roles and Responsibilities of a Gender Champion:
Provide overall guidance to the peer group in integrating /mainstreaming gender in all activities of the Institution in the form of focused group discussions, debates, poster competitions etc. Organize awareness programmers on various gender issues including legislations to influence behavior change. This could be facilitated through workshops’ theme based plays, films, painting competition, etc. Organize the annual function or the college fest on theme of gender equality and women’s empowerment and encourage students to sign up and express their support for gender justice and equality in attractively designed Gender Champion booths. Popularize phone numbers of such services as police helpline, women helpline, hospitals among students. Demonstrate knowledge of important Government schemes, events, legislation, and court rulings which has a major impact on the treatment and experiences of diverse groups. Our objective at M.A.M.B-School on gender sensitization: Gender Equality is not a women’s issue it is a human issue. To create an environment ofØ justice. To instill positive values so as to erase biases in the young developing minds as they progress towards the fair and unbiased society. To appreciate the fact that the rights of every women is as important as her male counterpart. To create an inclusive gender diverse work place with fair practices. To work towards modification of behavior by raising awareness of gender equality concerns. To create an open minded society. To strengthen the data base on women’s issues through research by the students and faculty members To raise student knowledge of women’s rights and duties, which is vitally required. To undertake advocacy and outreach programs concerning women in the rural and urban areas.
