On April 2, 2025, the IQAC and JCI Club of M.A.M. B-School observed World Autism Awareness Day with a session titled “A Journey of Understanding – Societal Value-Based Learning”. The event, held at 10:00 AM, aimed to raise awareness about autism, its early detection, and the importance of inclusivity. Mrs. B. Nancy Samuel, Principal of Athma Special School, served as the guest speaker, sharing insights on early autism identification, the Individualized Education Program (IEP), and the need for acceptance and equal opportunities for autistic children. She emphasized the critical role of the first 18 months in detection and the benefits of early intervention. The session was enriched by the presence of 30 specially challenged children from Athma Special School and featured cultural performances by both the special children and M.A.M. B-School students. Dr. M. Hemalatha, Director, delivered the welcome address, and Ms. Yogapriya, Assistant Professor & JCI Coordinator, ensured smooth execution of the program.
