The IQAC and YRC of M.A.M. B-School, in association with Kauvery Hospital, Trichy, conducted a Basic Life Support (BLS) workshop on 8th April 2025 to train students in essential life-saving skills. Dr. P. Subburenthina Bharathi, Deputy General Manager, Kauvery Hospital, introduced the CAB method—Circulation, Airway, Breathing—and highlighted the role of prompt action during emergencies.
Hands-on training, led by Dr. D. Vanitha and Mr. Krishnaraj, covered CPR, recovery position, choking first aid, and AED usage. Students practiced on mannequins in two batches, receiving real-time feedback. The Good Samaritan Law was also explained to encourage responsible intervention. Participants who successfully completed the practical assessment received certificates from Kauvery Hospital and M.A.M. B-School. Mr. A. Anburaj, Assistant Professor and IQAC Coordinator, delivered the vote of thanks.
