The M.A.M. B-School Rotaract Club, in association with the Rotary Club of Tiruchirappalli and the Rotary Club of Virudhunagar, successfully organized a three-day spoken English program titled “Project Punch” from May 5 to May 7, 2025. The initiative aimed to enhance participants’ English communication skills, thereby improving their confidence and employability.
The program concluded with a valedictory function held on May 7, 2025. The event was graced by Rtn. S. Shanmuga Nataraj, Conference Chairman – Harmony, RI District 3212, as the Chief Guest, and Rtn. Vidhya Senthil, Past Assistant Governor and Coordinator, District Speaker Bank, as the Guest of Honor.
The guests appreciated the collaborative efforts of the Rotaract Club and the Rotary Clubs in providing such a valuable skill-development platform. They emphasized the importance of communication skills in academic, professional, and social spheres, and encouraged participants to continue practicing regularly to achieve fluency.
The three-day program included interactive sessions, practical exercises, and group activities designed to improve speaking, listening, and vocabulary skills. Participants expressed that Project Punch significantly boosted their confidence in using English effectively.
