Youth Red Cross (YRC) – M.A.M. B-School
The Youth Red Cross (YRC) of M.A.M. B-School is an active wing of the Indian Red Cross Society that aims to inspire and empower students to uphold humanitarian values and serve society selflessly. Guided by the Seven Fundamental Principles — Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary Service, Unity, and Universality — the YRC encourages youth to develop compassion, leadership, and a commitment to community welfare. The YRC movement, focuses on promoting health awareness, voluntary service, and social responsibility among students. It guides the students take charge of organizing and managing various initiatives.
At M.A.M. B-School, the YRC conducts a range of service-oriented activities such as blood donation drives, health and hygiene awareness programs, disaster relief initiatives, and environmental campaigns. These activities help students understand the importance of teamwork, empathy, and dedication to humanitarian causes. Through its vibrant programs, the YRC nurtures a sense of social consciousness and voluntary spirit among students, empowering them to contribute meaningfully to society and uphold the noble ideals of the Red Cross Movement in their personal and professional lives.
Objectives
- To make an awareness on the care of their own health and that of others.
- To understanding and acceptance of civic responsibilities and acting accordingly with humanitarian concern, to fulfil the same.
- To enable the growth and development of a spirit of service and sense of duty with dedication and devotion in the minds of Youth.
- To foster better friendly relationship with all without any discrimination.
